As part of the MDA brief, i am focusing on redesigning the album cover for Greendays American Idiot. 

Again, i looked at the album and tried to minimalise it even more. This meant focusing on the main feature, the "heart bomb" and tried agaoiin to minimlaise it even further. 

Here my idea is to minimalise the design, and create a different look at the design and change the perspective on the album and focus on the title itself. 

Here i manipulated the design to lighten it and create a ghost liek the people in the characters mind. 

Here my idea was to take some imagery and make it darker to represent the dark thoughts that were in the charachters head and the tape to represent the fact he had no freedom of speech.

Here my idea was to distort and modify the image to try and recreate the perception of the design. This was me trying to manipulate the design. This is to represent the change in the atmosphere and tracks and what the album is about. 

Here is my idea for my final peice a left over foilin peice and an american flag giving an effect of being refused speach, frustrated. A ghost like the friends he has created and the feeling of being obscure.
