I created a large format, style guide as a publication for my branding pitch for the boutique hotel ‘Solitaire Lodge’ My main focus was showing the surrounding landscape to it’s premium. The logo forms and variations are based on the age lines in the cross section of the Kauri tree. These designs were further distorted by photographing them through water. As Solitaire Lodge is located righton the edge of Lake Tarawera, New Zealand.
Some of the images featured in the brochure are borrowed from derek henderson's book titled 'Mercy Mercer'.
