The concept is redisigning Teletubbies characters with "Power Ranger (Super Sentai in Japan) style. This concept came up to my mind because I just realize that Teletubbies and Power Ranger have a lot of similarities in their character, so here we go...
The concept is redisigning Teletubbies characters with "Power Ranger (Super Sentai in Japan) style. This concept came up to my mind because I just realize that Teletubbies and Power Ranger have a lot of similarities in their character, so here we go...
~ Tinky Winky ~
As the biggest and the oldest member of Teletubbies he always lead his siblings to do a lot of stuff. So I made him as the leader ranger. (weird things, as a boy his favorit stuff is pink purse)
~ Dipsy ~
The second oldest member of Teletubbies and also the most stubborn member.
Unique thing about this character is unlikely the other character, he has the darkest face. So i guess Afro-American guy is the suitable alter ego for this ranger.
~ Lala ~
The Third Teletubbies. Her favorit stuff is her orange big ball, maybe it can be her most lethal weapon as a ranger.
~ Poo ~
The Last Teletubbies. She is the most cheerfull Teletubbies.
She can speak english and cantonesse fluently, so I guess "Chinesse Girl" is her suitable alter-ego.
Despite of a lot of similarity between these two groups (Teletubbies and Power Ranger), I also found that the additional member of these group also have same characteristics. When Teletubbies have "Noo Noo", the robotic dust sucker, Power Ranger have their robotic assistant named "Alpha" (Mighty Morphin Power Ranger). And when Teletubbies have their talking baby-sun, power ranger have their plasmic-bald-talking guy "Zordon".
Maybe in another moment I'll make Alpha and Zordon Character redesign crossover.
