Sweetwater Pines Logo & Branding

Sweetwater Pines is a ten acre, privately-owned plot of land, pond, and rustic cabin in
Dodge County, Georgia which is a little less than 150 miles south of Atlanta. Ample hunting and fishing opportunities abound, while the house’s hospitality allows for casual parties with friends and overnight company. Saturdays in the fall are usually spent in front of the big screen, cheering on the
Georgia Bulldogs to victory. GO DAWGS!

For the mark, I tried to capture the essence of the land and its history by juxtaposing the similar arrowhead
and pine tree shapes under hand-drawn type. Many arrowheads, which were probably left by the
Creek Indians known to have inhabited the area long before any of us, have been found on the land in
the 40 years since it has been in the current owner’s family.
Letterpressed "thank you" cards were produced and paired with kraft paper envelopes.
Photographed here with arrowheads found on the property.
I hired Atlanta woodworker, Dennis Pruitt, to create a beautiful treated wood and brushed
copper sign to hang outdoors.
Hats and shirts embroidered with the logo are worn by the owners and given to family and friends.
If you are an overnight guest at the cabin, you can watch the sun rise on the porch while sipping
hot coffee from custom made pottery mugs stamped with the Sweetwater Pines logo!
