Flow – Central Park Signage

Signage and wayfinding designs for the water recycling facility underneath Central Park in Sydney.
For this project, I got to develop concepts, and illustrate and design a whole bunch of signage and wayfinding for the underground water facility at Central Park in Sydney, which is run by Flow Sytems. Flow basically want to start doing more tours and open it up to the public, so some form of wayfinding and informational signage are essential.

Below are the concept sketches that were initially presented to the client.

We also wanted to do a water cutaway, that would be a massive sign across one of the walls, to give people an idea that there is in fact a massive tank of water right in front of them. Below is the sketch we presented.

Once these concept sketches were approved I went and rolled out the designs, and also did some in-situ comps for the client, so as they could better visualise what the final product would look like.

Photos of the final install lie below. The client and DE were super happy with how everything came out. It was also such a treat to go down there with all the awesome machinery, and see muscley dudes put up your designs. But that's by the by.
