We sponsored the event Notte Bianca Valletta in 2014 by providing them with two clips for branding and promotional services and providing a 3 camera crew on the night.

 

We wanted to enhance the Notte Bianca brand and build on the good work they had done in previous years. So we took the light painting idea and created a short clip mixing a number of in-camera and digital effects to bring the City's lights to life and give a taster of what is to come at Notte Bianca 2014.

Sarah-Lee Zammit for Arts Council Malta

The second clip was connected to a very special app that the Arts Council Malta released in the run up to Notte Bianca. The app served two purposes, a schedule of events & maps of the city for use on the night and as a light-painting tool. 

 

For 2014 it was decided to combine the app with a small facebook competition, encouraging people to experiment with light painting. This animation helped spread the word and show people how to use the app.
