Third cooperation with Peter Bultijnck, the Ostend-born Bruxellois. He was the driving force in the 'Orchestre du Mouvement Perpetuel', an electro-classical companionship between him and classical pianist Allejandro Petrasso. After two albums with OMP (of which I both made the artwork), Peter decided to make a solo album.
It's a pleasure to work with Peter, because he feeds you with lots of intuitive thoughts and ideas about his music, and then let you deal with it, without 'interfering' at every turn. So you get a lot of freedom, within a certain context.
For his first solo album however, he wanted a rather 'direct' approach; not too much 'concept', but an 'in the face' visual of him as a solo artist. After experimenting with several designs, I came up with a rather intriguing portrait-pic for the cover (which I gave a sort of Anton Corbijn-treatment in Photoshop to make it even more mysterious), combinated with 'tape-type' on top of it.
