Beat Busters is a collective of musicians, bands & artists who collaborate on different levels. Beat Busters were formed in order to make live music events, with special performances as an extra addition to the shows, such as the notorious “Beatbusting” where people in white overall suits would extract rhythms and sounds from everything around them. The collected energy is then transposed in order to power the core of Beat Busters. This in turn operates as a digital music transmitter, representing all of the artists in the collective and emitting their work out into the world. This project needed a different approach to branding due to it’s unusual and unique concept. The idea was to create a personalized typography, which would be able to represent the different aspects of the collective as well as their mission. All of the applications followed the same system creating a playful visual code.
