This was a project I worked on commemorating the release of the classic musical The Sound of Music on Blu Ray. The brief was a to come up with a updated key art for the package that would still hold true to the original film. These were some of the early stages of the exploration. Comps were originally sketched on paper for composition studies, then brought into the computer to build. All the pattern work was done in Illustrator, art finished Photoshop, and book elements laid out in InDesign. Responsibilities were delegated to specific team members according to their strengths. I was fortunate to be involved in this project and was lucky to have a great team of designers to work with. This package was later featured on Oprah's show commemorating the release on Blu Ray, as well as a reunion of the original cast members.
