Concepts and Exploration
Had the opportunity to work on this release of the classic Planet of the Apes Blu Ray Collection. These are some of the initial concepts that were explored. The brief consisted of conceptualizing the overall package, line look for the individual films, as well as the disc art. Prior to working on this, I had only seen the first film along with the 2001 Tim Burton version. After some research, we explored different execution methods and packaging alternatives and came up with the following concepts.
These pages were created for the booklet. The Simian language spread was created with Illustrator and Photoshop, to inDesign. This was the spread used to hold the discs in the collection booklet.
