Heneral Luna Theatrical Posters

This is a series of teaser and theatrical posters for 2015 Philippine historical film, Heneral Luna. These were pitch material for the studio done over a period of three months with no involvement from production.

The main challenge of this project was the lack of photos. These were not provided upon working on the pitch. Consequently, the posters were done mostly experimentally by looking for a fitting image for the film.

This project was done only alongside a creative director. All graphic design executed by me. All posters are a suspended work in progress, none of which are a finished product.

Eventuallty, I had to pull out of the project due to creative differences with the creative director. Read why here.

The initial teaser posters with the initial "illustrated" look. These were reimagined in favor of a more realistic, therefore exciting, look that made use of real images.
Teaser poster number 1 featuring the most iconic line in the film, forming the face of Luna with the use of distressed (literally and figuratively) words.
Main poster featuring a burning flag, with Luna running to its rescue.
