Learning Your Way Viewbook
During my tenure at Zone 5 Communications we were approached by the University of Charleston to create a new veiwbook. Most higher education viewbooks talk at students, with the University of Charleston they wanted to engage them. That lead to an interactive approach to their viewbook. The solution was the creation of a journal that takes the prospective student on a journey of information as they fill it out. It asks questions, fosters research and provides key insights to the “Learning Your Way” education philosophy. The journal is intended to act as an information resource and application. The student fills it out and submits it with there application and upon acceptance they receive 2 credits. This was well received by students and created a real-life illustration of the UC education experience.
