Product Design - Reuse Your Content in Prezi

Project Overview

As the product designer of the Reuse Team of Prezi our goal was to give 40 million users a tool to store, find and reuse the content they saved or used in the 150 million prezis created.
A possible scenario and early flow and concept wireframes
The Process

After analyzing the thorough research provided by the UX and product researchers I sketched up everything that came to mind and presented the more interesting ones to the team by creating wireframes and flow charts.

I created high fidelity mockups that were easy to iterate with and we went to London for a few days of user interviews, user tests and iteration at night. We came back with insights that changed our perspective.

We then went back to high level concepts again, narrow them down to possible use cases and started mocking up the new solutions. Followed by several user tests and iterations we tested the parts separately in the editor before we released the feature in July 2014.
The final UI elements that are in the product used by millions every month
The Result

We released the feature in July 2014 to the 40+ million Prezi users, resulting in a significant increase of reusing content (to the previously existing hidden My Collection function), and eventually changing completely the way we think of Prezi templates and training.

The feature was not announced outside of the Prezi Newsletter, but it sure made it to the trainers' blogs.
