As the dedicated UX designer of the View Team of Prezi our vision was that we can make prezi as a medium as engaging as a video is. 'Breaking the sound barrier' was a long discussed topic among product designers in the company.

 

After redesigning the prezi player and improving autoplay we took on the long awaited audio project: starting from high level concepts based on thorough user research, all the way to wireframes and high fidelity mockups followed by user tests, further iteration and more interactive prototypes. 

We released audio in March 2012. A solution that is 'flexible since it allows users to import any kind of sound, whether it be a presentation-long narrative, or short sound effect to enhance the visuals'
