This page is designed to be a travel agency's web page. It is a fictitious Alaskan based company that specializes in European tours.
On the main page, or "About Us" page, there is a brief welcoming statement. A "Founded" section to give the veiwer some background on the company start. And and a bit about the company name.
There are five page tabs, image buttons that I made directing the user to various sections.
Overseas Travel, this page will provide the would be customer with the often unknown requirements for traveling abroad.
The "Gallery" section provides photo's of many different places. The photo's are provided by both company and customer.
Contact Us, is where you would get company contact info of course. Also there would be a section where one could fill in they're own info with and destination information. This would give the agent the chance to have a plan started when he or she called you.
In the Testimonials section, you guessed it, there would be comments from past customers about they're experience. The testimonials can be in the form of a letter, audio comment, or video comment.
For visually impaired veiwers, the text isn't to small ( I can take of my glasses and still read it ). Also, in the coding I would include alt tags and the such, that way screen readers would be able to narrate the images.
I tried to keep the page fairly simple, and hopefully easy on the eyes. I have seen a lot of pages that are overwhelming and I wanted to avoid that. Sometimes a little is a lot. I didn't want any flashing text, or video that plays as soon as you open the page, I find that annoying. Subtlety was one of my main focus's.
