Spring 2014. Projects done for my painting course.
First project. We had to incorporate different elements of movement, rhythm, form, and texture, based on a series of mini-paintings we did earlier. I rolled up pieces of masking tape and stuck them to the red circle, and also added some multi-color glitter.

Second project. The requirements of this project involved text and appropriation...I think we had to incorporate something with symbols. My themes were Native American stereotypes, logos (Puma, WWF), and cheapness. In the top left corner there is tape marked with $5, and I covered the whole piece with saran wrap.

"Daydreams"
This assignment required us to paint something that was related to everyday life.
My piece is about a young farm boy who goes out to fish at the pond every day, and often daydreams about being by the sea instead.
