I got this great job to illustrate a whole bunch of monsters that were stuck around the Chapel Street Precinct—which is a big shopping area in Melbourne—leading up to Christmas and New Years. I also got the job off the back of my Freakin' Monsters project, which thankfully justifies me starting the bloody thing.

The characters changed quite a bit from the original sketches—they were almost humanoid. However, they wanted them to be cuter rather than scary.

 

Finally, below are some photos of the characters insitu—super chuffed with how they all came out. I didn't realise they were going to be printed this flippin' big!
