Per Jonsson | Music Producer
Per Jonsson's music incorporates an intangible essence of flow . The importance of flow as a point of reference in the art of self-expression has been emphasized within the framework of Bruce Lee's Jeet Kune Do, an introspective martial system in which Jonsson has undergone several years of training.

In his case the principle of flow manifests itself in a refusal to be deadlocked in templates, an almost obsessive idea of avoiding the static, expressed in an irrepressible will to discover and explore. The music is, paradoxically enough, seen to the swarm of allusions and unabashed borrowings, a "style without style".

The concept of flow can furthermore be used to describe how the music of the artist in question never returns to the point of take-off. It shows a distinct linear movement, or poly-linear movement; the music branches off, like a river becoming a delta just before the reunion with the all-encompassing ocean. Flow is thus a suitable metaphor for the onward direction that pervades the music, which manifests a joy and a will to, in a semi-improvisation, travel through new musical landscapes.
