At the heart of Adobe's brand is color, and so for the first piece in this series of graphics for the San Francisco office we covered the central stairwell with a gradient that spans 3 floors. This view is from the basement. The color reaches up to the lightwell at the top.
The final color order of the gradient. Employees travel through the gradient as they walk up and down the stairs.
The light from the skylight illuminates the color onto each floor, greeting employees as they step out of the elevator facing the stairwell.

Part of the process was looking at the order of color with in the gradient. Blues and darker colors on the bottom tended to make the first floor stairwell light too dark.
