Pixelwood Derby 2014

Event Logo Designed by SiteGoals

The first Pinewood Derby was held in 1953 with miniature cars made of from a small pine block with wheels attached by small finishing nails. On Thursday, June 26th, SiteGoals hosted the inaugural Pixelwood Derby in the same tradition as over  fifty years ago, but taking it to the next level.

Twenty-four creative agencies and businesses in Austin received an official Pinewood Derby car kit to design for the race. Top designs were decided by a select panel of judges, in addition to awards for speed and team spirit. This competition amongst Austin’s most creative to yield some amazing entries! See how we placed!
