Are you a typical Helsinki citizen? If you are, you toss 23kg of food to the trash bin every year. 40% of this would be edible, but it goes to waste for whatever reason. Been there, one sometimes buys more food than is possible to eat.

 

We ate all the food away at the Waste Food Brunch! Måndag set the table with the Finland-prize winning top chef Sami Tallberg. Materials were donations from entrepreneurs from Helsinki.

 

Instead of throwing it away, let’s build a brunch with it!
