Before training as a designer, I gained experience of industrial automation, assembling and testing higly automate assembly lines. I had the privilege to work alongside very skilled technicians and engineers and learn the principles that govern the design and construction of these machines. I also learned the use of machine tools which were essential for producing the high number of custom-made components that this kind of technology requires.
