The job was to design a responsive website and branding for rising star yoga teacher Julie B. We went through a series of branding exercises to better understand and more effectively reflect her personality and teaching philosophy. I hired renowned photographer Karl Herrmann to do the photo shoot and we chose a day at the shore when the atmosphere was overcast, gray and tranquil. We used the red boots to add a little color and balance to an otherwise monochromatic scene and I think the result is both subtle and powerful.
