Facade of Marriage
“Friend and Faux” Topic
Through my piece I am addressing the fallacy of marriage - the pressure in today’s society to progress causing the paradox where growth slowly becomes relapse.
This project consists of a polished ring with a shiny, fake rhinestone attached to a dark, damaged band one. Once the shiny ring is put on, the other one is attached underneath staying in the palm of the hand, paining on the inside representing the fallacy of marriage. The difference between what it looks like to what it really is.
