Surf photography is a small niche of the art that has the ability to offer up some very unique and original perspectives. Images range from action packed views of surfers flying through the air to the serene, soulful landscapes where the land meets the sea.  I personally like to bring the viewer into the water.  Most people never get to experience the power of a large ocean wave from up close, the way the water falls over itself onto the reef, thousands of gallons at a time.  It is a fun way to use the photographic art and perspective to awe the viewer.
