I love to design and make my own Holiday Cards. This year I played with the idea of is it a Hipster or is it Kringle/Krampus. I really love how both came out.
I had my friend and designer/art director Lauren Panepinto design the text. We exchange work of this nature. I do illustrations for her Muddy Color posts, and she will do text for me.
She came up with three really great ideas, and rather than just pick one, I decided to print all her designs, as I was using Moo.com for printing and could have up to 25 different images.
I used Painter for the art, and Lauren used Illustrator.

This is the back of the card. The inside has just a simple "Happy Holiday!" message inside.
As you can see, my idea for the text, lacked a lot of the awesomeness that Lauren came up with.
