I design five 12- 16 page print newsletters and two e-newsletters for specific schools on an ongoing basis. The design process begins by my meeting with the editor and organizing the content of each publication. We find the overall theme and begin researching images and type treatments to be used that best represents the voice of each publication.
Further collaboration between photographers, faculty, staff, students, production and our awesome printers, leads to the success of each piece.
The response from readers is overwhelmingly positive and has increased readership 50% from previous years. The publications are also used to solicit perspective students.
In an effort of the university to go green, Constant Contact newsletters were initiated on select publications with a high volume of content. Using a templated format customized to this e-newsletter, its primary use is a teaser which links out to the main website for their content.
