A história do Quebra-Nozes começa na véspera de Natal na bela casa de uma família; uma jovem chamada Clara é presenteada pelo seu tio com um lindo boneco quebra-nozes de brinquedo. Clara fica encantada com o presente, até que seu irmão, com ciúmes, o quebra. Seu tio então conserta magicamente o brinquedo, e ao fim da festa, Clara adormece agarrada a ele.
Seu sonho começa.
A árvore de Natal de sua sala cresceu para um tamanho enorme e ratos gigantes estão correndo por lá. Os soldados de brinquedo ganharam vida e estão marchando em direção ao quebra-nozes de Clara, que cresceu para o tamanho real.
Uma batalha é travada entre os ratos e os soldados, quando o quebra-nozes e o Rei do Rato entram em um combate intenso. Após a queda do Rei dos Ratos, o quebra-nozes levanta a coroa da cabeça e a coloca em Clara. Ela é magicamente transformada em uma linda princesa, e o quebra-nozes se transforma em um belo príncipe diante de seus olhos.
Juntos, eles vivem muitas aventuras por diversos mundos, e em um momento o príncipe se curva diante de Clara, segurando sua mão, e então diz:

The Nutcracker is a Christmas classic and captures the entire essence of this magical holiday.
The Nutcracker story begins on Christmas Eve in a family's beautiful home; A young girl named Clara is presented by her uncle with a beautiful toy nutcracker doll. Clara is delighted with the gift, until her jealous brother breaks it. Her uncle then magically repairs the toy, and at the end of the party Clara falls asleep holding it.
Your dream begins.
The Christmas tree in your living room has grown to a huge size and giant rats are running around there. The toy soldiers have come to life and are marching towards Clara's nutcracker, which has grown to life size.
A battle ensues between the mice and the soldiers, as the Nutcracker and the Mouse King enter into intense combat. After the Mouse King falls, the Nutcracker lifts the crown from his head and places it on Clara. She is magically transformed into a beautiful princess, and the nutcracker transforms into a handsome prince before her eyes.
Together, they live many adventures across different worlds, and at one point the prince bows down in front of Clara, holding her hand, and then says:
"Now close your eyes and dream"
Clara wakes up the next day, hugging her beloved nutcracker, now a toy; and also with the crown that was presented to her, the girl then questions whether it was all a dream, reality or the magic of Christmas, but with the message that when she fell asleep, she would live all these dreams.
