The Lost Type Co-op will visit Amsterdam for its third Field Trip on September 19-26, 2014. Prior trips were visits to San Francisco and New York.
I've had the honor of collaborating with Riley Cran and friends to create custom lettering to promote the trip. The lettering was inspired by ‘Amsterdamse Krulletter’ (Amsterdam’s Curly Letter) which were beautifully hand-painted scripts on the windows of old, traditional pubs that locals called 'bruin cafés' (brown cafés).
The AM|14 logo was designed by Cade Cran, designer, illustrator and contributor to The Lost Type Co-op.
