Make the most out of small balconies.

During the semester in furniture and product design class, we were given an Ikea IVAR chair with the challenge of giving it a new meaning or use.

As an architecture student from Brazil living in Barcelona for 6 months, one of the things that caught my attention and charmed me the most in the city were the balconies. However, I noticed that because they were small, they were often unused.

With this project, we had the idea to transform the chair into a small hanging table that would allow people to study, work, or simply use it as a support, giving the small balconies new uses and also bringing a touch of greenery to them.
