It's Not Up To You
It's Not up To You was inspired by the song Karma by Sarah Kinsley. I had this song on repeat when this piece was made. I wanted to evoke the sensation of trying to look for answers about the future only to get to the understanding that one can't control every detail of their own fate. The ethereal and surreal imagery of being engulfed by space and time.
In the song, Sarah sings about two lovers, one who believes their relationship to be doomed and the other who fights that notion at all costs. In the first verses we are presented with them going to a fortune teller in search for answers, this is the scene I portrayed in It's Not Up To You.
