Brand Identity | Museum of urban playgrounds NS

This visual identity was developed for the museum of urban playgrounds NS. Inspiration comes from the whimsical structures that can often be seen in courtyards, in parks, in children's play centers and sometimes even in various institutions (e.g. museums). The most popular building materials are iron and wood, but whatever the material, children are "attracted to them like magnets" - this metaphor became the starting point, then the leitmotif of the entire identity.
The concept and principle of a magnet as an object was further revealed in the logo. The museum's name in the logo represents an illustration of a magnetic field.
I imagined the children in the form of paper clips, and the children's play structures were designed in the image of a standard magnet, which defines the color palette of the project. In order to give the project a feeling of childishness, the red color of the magnet, responsible for "South", was replaced by a delicate coral, and the blue, otherwise known as "North", was changed to the color "blue baby ".
Thank you a lot for watching 🧲
