USER FLOW & TASK FLOW FOR AN E-BIKE COMPANION APP
This project covers a simple User Flow of an Electric Bike Companion App and features Task Flows for Forgot Password and Last Known Location.
This User Flow describes a typical user who opens the app and either logs in or signs up using mobile number and a secure One Time Password is sent in order to verify user's identity. After that, the user then proceeds to add a bike so as to view statistics on the app. Some mandatory steps later, the user sees a user-specific homepage.
Note: Dashed lines are used to represent alternate pathways an user can take.
This here is a Task Flow for if an existing user forgets password while trying to login to the app. A Password Reset Link is sent to the registered mobile number via SMS. Once the password's been reset, the user then proceeds to login as usual.
This Task Flow describes user searching for the bike's Last Known Location to keep track of where the bike is, especially when parked in a crowded space. After the app finds the location, it is then displayed on the screen.
Above is a Wireframe of different screens in the app. There is also a concept of how Last Known Location will be displayed.
