WOODEN TOY
RESEARCH
I gather images, colors, and textures on my inspiration board to inspire and influence my design, and on the technical board, I plan how to address any challenges or problems during the creation process.
IDEATION
As part of our work as industrial designers, we were tasked with generating and illustrating concepts for your wooden car. I sketched out some basic doodle ideas for the wooden truck that I intend to design.
DEVELOPMENT
For the development of the wooden truck design, I plan to refine the initial doodle ideas through sketching further. This will involve exploring different shapes, proportions, and details to ensure the final design is aesthetically appealing and functional. I will also conduct research on wood materials and construction techniques to determine the best approach for bringing the concept to life. Additionally, I will seek feedback from colleagues and potential users to incorporate valuable insights into the design process.
TRIPLEX DEVELOPMENT
In order to further our development endeavors, I have created a detailed triplex model of the toy car truck..
MANUFACTURE
The process involves taking pictures of each step involved in creating a wooden car, from selecting the wood and shaping the car's body to assembling the parts and adding the finishing touches.
DECAL DESIGN
OUTCOME
I'm fairly proud of my wooden toy truck, it's a result of hard work and attention to detail. Though it's close to what I wanted, there's room for improvement.
