Recreation of the SnapChat Logo
The concept of this logo is a letter mark this is a typography-based logo that's comprised of a few letters, usually a company's initials.
The camera symbolizes what Snapchat is used for which is taking pictures.
The yellow circle symbolizes Snapchat team color which is yellow.
Firstly, I use the vector brush to make the outline of the image to replicate the camera.
Next, I use the shape tool to insert a black circle and add another circle with color yellow that is layered on top of the other circle that is below.
I then insert the text box for letter “S” and “C” and move them at my desired spot to be aligned with the outline of the image.
For the yellow circle I add a gradient to the color to make it have an ombré effect for the camera lens.
On the other section that makes the camera I insert different effects to make it look 3D which were bevel /emboss, 3D, and outer shadow to make it look that way.
Finally for the two texts I incorporated different effects as to make it look 3D and have a gradient effect with the two colors. We used the bevel,3D, gradient overlay and outer shadow to make it look 3D.
