Primary principles behind the conceptual design of the logo are diversity, togetherness and dynamism. Design symbolizes the multicultural community, mutual respect and coexistence of different groups of people, as well as the admirable devotion that undoubtedly exists within the Kikinda Cultural Center

The first element that makes up the conceptual design is a circle that is located in the middle and symbolizes the center, ie. the nucleus, the gathering place around which all events take place. It represents the Kikinda Cultural Center itself, in terms of location. The rest of the logo is based on three amorphous, intertwined elements of different colors. These elements symbolize the aforementioned set of diversity that exists at the local community level and that represents the city’s greatest asset. It is actually multiculturalism that generates the complete cultural program that takes place within the center. The three elements are intertwined, thus symbolizing the inevitable connection and overlap of the cultures that exist in Kikinda and that cumulatively form what is the general cultural heritage of the city.

Three building elements of the logo are also an abstract representation of people holding hands and thus forming a circle, resembling the serbian traditional dance “kolo”. “Kolo” is an integral part of our folklore and one of the most important fragments of cultural heritage, so it is an adequate symbol of an institution such as the Cultural Center.

The color scheme of the logo differs from the initial color scheme of the existing logo of the institution. The goal of such a decision is to regenerate the visual identity, which is a logical step in the existence of the Cultural Center. The colors are brighter, their relationship is dynamic and diverse enough to support the explenation mentioned above.
