The flat versus skeuomorphic design is an interface that helps conjugate verbs in Spanish. The idea was influenced by mosaic tiles and led to the colorful floral color palette. The idea is to help the user learn Spanish, the details like the logo at the top center of the screen, a save button to remember specific verbs, and a search bar so the user can find different verbs and conjugations and pull everything together to give it a complete look. The flat design is left and the skeuomorphic design is right.
