This magazine is NOT a tourism magazine.
It's a magazine that records the current modern era in Kuala Lumpur city in Malaysia.
Modern KL break through the norms of layout design, and experiment with all the
possible outcomes in a modern, artistic, and unconventional Swiss design.
Our USP is "It's a Sluggish Fast Life", as this is a common feeling when you're
hustling but struggling in a big city like Kuala Lumpur (KL).
Also, it means that it takes time and need to slow down for a good
experimental magazine to be done, even though KL is a fast paced city.
I've developed a few mastheads, but most of the mastheads' drafts were
designed just for the sake for making me looks less lazy from the lecturers....
However, I'm cool with the current masthead / logo.
Modern KL MUST be simple and effective. That's our brand identity.

I've printed cards in standard business card size to be sandwiched between selected pages, as a behind-the-scene humor that goes with Modern KL's brand identity.
And then, I've also did a web and mobile version of Modern KL.
