This unofficial rebrand of Robert Gordon University takes inspiration from the contemporary and traditional buildings across their sprawling campus. By merging key shapes from the architecture, the modernised 'crest' represents all schools within the University. 

Euclid Circular ( https://www.swisstypefaces.com/fonts/euclid/ ) was selected for its complimentary geometric build, huge range of options within the font family and ability to support both Latin and Cyrillic alphabet, supporting communication across the board with the international student population of this North-East Scottish educational body.

The original 'RGU purple' remains, paired with a strong monochrome palette that evokes strength, trust and knowledge.
