Punggol Regional Library
Punggol Regional Library, is the fourth regional library in Singapore which will pilot a suite of integrated services for persons with disabilities located within One Punggol. It is equipped with accessible technology and equipment such as multimedia and borrowing stations, accessible keyboards and joysticks, and magnifiers with text to speech functions, enabling persons with physical and visual impairments to have easier access to National Library Board’s resources.
Concept Art
The concept art developed for the Punggol Regional Library is rooted in the theme of inclusivity and accessibility. The concept art depicts hand motifs which symbolises a sense of community, inclusivity and connectivity with different groups of people. The vibrant colours used were referenced from the interior design of the library.
Accessibility Icon
The purple smiley heart is a visual representation of inclusivity and priority use within library spaces, facilities, and services. The heart-shaped motif, symbolises love and care, adorned with a cheerful smiley face to evoke positivity and happiness. The colour purple was chosen for its significance for the community of persons with disability. This icon embodies the spirit of compassion, empathy, and accessibility.
Marketing Collateral & Assets
Drawing inspiration from the concept art, I have created and produced a range of marketing materials to promote the opening of Punggol Regional Library. Each piece was meticulously designed to reflect the values of inclusivity and accessibility, while also showcasing the unique features and services offered by the library. From brochures and posters to digital advertisements and social media assets, every aspect of the marketing materials was thoughtfully crafted to resonate with the target audience and communicate the library's commitment to serving the community.
