InTune: A Place to Enjoy Music Together
PROJECT DETAILS
EMPHASIZE STAGE
The idea behind this project began with how to create a more connected music community where people could easily share their new discoveries and long-time favourite artist and songs. The purpose of reviewing this specific field was to understand how users engaged with current music streaming platforms and how studies were addressing the development of a more inclusive music experience.
AIM:
Provide an app that increases social engagement around sharing music and singing karaoke.
OBJECTIVES:
To achieve the aim of this project and use the Stanford design process, I will work through the 5 stages: empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. Within the following nine weeks, I will be conducting interviews, analyzing data, developing user personas and journeys, and developing lo-fi, mid-fi, and high-fi prototypes.
DEFINE STAGE
From the research and interviews conducted, four personas were identified who were search of a music streaming app and karaoke app.
IDEATE STAGE
Brainstorming and exploration of potential solutions and ideas around music sharing through listening and karaoke. The ideation of the features and functions of the app were identified and refined during this stage.
PROTOTYPE STAGE
Completed a Lo-Fi, Mid-Fi Wireframe, and Hi-Fi Prototype. Each prototype was tested with various users and updated with any user feedback and recommendations
