Branding: Masani's Fireplace

Masani's Fireplace is a food truck/branding project that I did during my Spring 2022 semester at Northern Arizona University. I created a food truck that serves Navajo breakfast items in Flagstaff, Arizona.

The purpose behind this truck was to create a place of home and nostalgia for other Navajos who were missing a sense of home like I was. The name "Masani's Fireplace" means Grandmothers fireplace which is what I felt would be best to describe the feeling I wanted.

For the designs, I kept with simple geometric and Navajo designs that would work with the black background of the truck and later I incorporated the designs between the different packaging and branding items that I created.
For the packaging products, I designed the coffee cups and stickers that would be used for meals. I wanted to keep a simple design that would be the easiest and cheapest to print. I utilize the logo and the corn design in the stickers to create a variety but also display my ability to create different branding designs outside of the logo.

I then created a menu that would be used as a simple and easy to carry card that customers could take with them. I bring in the corn design and basket design to create a visually appealing design that steers away from the stereotypical "Navajo" designs.

I also designed a t-shirt in the same design as the sticker to keep a uniformed and sleek branding package.

All illustrations were created in Adobe Illustrator and placed into mockups in Adobe Photoshop.
