ART222 Final Project: Social Media Posts
For our final project, we were tasked to create an event and then make a poster and three social media posts to advertise the event. I love baking shows especially British baking shows where everything is full of pastels and flowers. I decided to create an event for a bake-off being held at my church, Calvary. I originally was going to name it "Bake-Off" until I was creating my drafts and drew a whisk. I used color pallets from Pinterest so all of my designs would look cohesive and stuck to a simple line work mainly because I don't excel at super detailed vectors. My boss is from Cambridge and she speaks constantly of "Queen Victorian Sponges" which was the inspiration for the cake on my poster. For my posts, I created ingredients of cake; eggs, milk, and what was meant to be flour but has morphed into frosting.
