Last Push

Taken at the local Parkrun. I took this shot from the finish line. I had positioned myself there so I could hopefully get just this type of shot. The expression of determination and a last push to get across the line is just what I wanted. As the event doesn't often have a photographer most of the finish line images were of runners smiling and waving at the camera so it was great to be ignored by these runners. I took this image from low level and chose portrait orientation. I think next time I would be less obvious so that the runners might concentrate on the run rather than getting a pic ;-)
