Las Piñas City is one of the southern cities in Metro Manila and hosts a vibrant and lively community. As a resident of Las Piñas, I created this photo journal in hopes of putting the city's culture and history on full display, and showcasing its true colors.

The photo above shows a street artwork of Leni Robredo and Francis Pangilinan for their campaign leading up to the 2022 Presidential Election. Their slogan "Kulay Rosas ang Bukas" plays around with the color pink as a symbol of bringing about good governance and a hope for change. Although having lost the election, their movement still goes strong today.
Las Piñas River

The photo above shows a part of the Las Piñas River which meanders and cuts through the City of Las Piñas. The color of the river unfortunately shows it to be polluted and a state of degradation, and will require substantial attention from the local government.

The photo above shows the Kapistahan ni Tata Hosep at Bamboo Organ church. This event is one of the more colorful events in Las Piñas featuring a celebration of St. Joseph and various barangays around Las Piñas Bayan.

The photo above shows a street sweeper keeping the streets of the city clean. Las Piñas City has been declared as one of the cleanest city in Metro Manila in the past and continues to adhere to the motto of Clean and Green city.

St. Joseph watching over the city

Lastly, the photo above shows St. Joseph carrying the child Jesus as they watch over all of us in Las Piñas. This photo was taken at the Bamboo Organ church and is one of Las Piñas City's significant historical landmark and pride of the city.
