Introduction
I was assigned to redesign the 2024 summer camp flyers for three age groups, including specific skills for ages 10 to 14, S.T.E.A.M. for ages 6 to 9, and kinder for ages 4 to 6. The centre manager wanted to move away from the traditional table format to a calendar layout.
Process of Work
When I redesigned it, I kept their colour tones and header images, and changed the separators from solid colours to fluid styles using gradients and meshes, enhancing the flyers’ styles from traditional to dynamic. However, there was a lot of class detail information, which limited the design space.
As the manager reviewed my first proposed flyers and recognized the space challenge, she then allowed me to shift the detailed information to a second page. Therefore, I can position two calendars diagonally, slightly overlapping for a front and back visual effect, making the design more engaging and visually appealing.
