This project was made for my Typography class and the objective for this project was to recreate an image out of the text that resonates with it. When I started to brainstorm for this project, I immediately thought of Stitch and the famous line “Ohana means family and family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten.” 

Starting this project, I found a clear image of Stitch and embedded it into an Illustrator artboard. I then chose a font that looked cute and handwritten. I started filling in the main body of Stitch with his name. I stretched the text as needed to create a curve for his head. I worked in sections when putting in the words. When doing his ears I chose to put in a description of them and did the same for his noses and eyes. For the light blue patches around his eyes, I decided to do a quote from him and chose the quote “Hiiiii” that he says to Lilo. Doing the other light blue patch on his stomach and bottom of his mouth I wanted to put in the famous quote “Ohana means family and family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten.” Working on this project, I had to make sure I wasn't stretching the words too much so it wasn’t affecting the readability of the text to the point of it being unreadable.
