Inspired by short VFX videos on TikTok that combine real footage and 3D graphics, I decided to implement something similar myself. I found an interesting building in Limassol, Cyprus, and shot several takes on my iPhone. Afterward, I created an HDRi map using the app 'HDReye'.
The next step was post-production. I used Cinema 4D to create a 3D copy of the building and animate all elements. Then, I created materials and lighting. Following that, I performed camera 3D tracking.
After tracking, I rendered everything using Redshift. Finally, I completed the compositing part in After Effects, which involved rotoscoping and color correction.
