Somehow in turned out to be a good logo

I started my internship, and I'm incredibly excited about it. I finally got to do what I'm most passionate about: creating a logo and accompanying text to fully represent a brand or company.
My first task on the internship was to come up with a cool logo and name for our WhatsApp group chat. It was kinda weird but also pretty exciting. We're all young, full of dreams and hype. How could I capture all that in just one logo?
So, after some serious brainstorming, I had this lightbulb moment with an old Latin quote from way back in 1600: "per aspera ad astra," which basically means 'through difficulties to success.' And I was like, 'Yeah, that's totally us!' I mean, we're all hustling hard, aiming for that future where we're happy and chill with our jobs and lives.
In the end, my internship professor passed on my logo. But you know what? I wasn't bothered at all because I figured it might have been a bit over the top for a simple WhatsApp group chat. She explained her decision by saying, 'A fancy logo like that would've been wasted there,' and honestly, I could see her point.
