A Haunting in Venice Play Poster - College Project

After watching the 2023 murder mystery film 'A Haunting in Venice', based on Agatha Christie's 'Hallowe'en Party', we were tasked with creating a poster for a fictional play based on the film, showing at the Tivoli, Aberdeen. 

I chose to use a skeleton hand as a puppet master for the house, referencing the shadow puppets shown at the start of the film, and how the house seemed to be cursed by the ghosts of the orphaned children that used to inhabit it. The design is inspired by 1940s design, which is shown in the chosen fonts.
